Hello! Thank you for choosing Bitfreighter to handle your EDI needs. In order to begin, there is some information we need from you. In your Introductory email, there was a link to your Google Sheet. This sheet will need to be filled out with your Trading Partner/Customer information, their contact information and what type of EDI files you will be setting up.

What do we need from you?

  1. Please include your SCAC at the top left of the page.

  2. Please include your Trading Partner/Customer Name.

  3. Please include your Trading Partner/Customer TMS. If you do not have this information, leave this field blank.

  4. Please include your Trading Partner/Customer Contact Name and Email Address. This will be the person Bitfreighter will contact out to start the setup process.

  5. If you have a current EDI connection with another provider, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

  6. If you answered Yes above, please list the EDI providers name (i.e. Kleinschmidt).

  7. If you want to receive 204 tenders and send 990s, please select Yes. If you are only setting up 214’s or 210’s, select No.

  8. If you want to send 214’s, select Yes. If you are sending 210’s, select No.

  9. If you want to send 210’s, select Yes. If you are not sending 210’s select No.

Once your Google Sheet has been completed, please contact your Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) so they may begin reaching out to your Trading Partner/Customers.

What can you expect from us?

  1. Each connection will have a separate email/ticket created in our ticketing system. You will receive an invitation to access your tickets.

  2. You can request to access our Bitfreighter portal.

    1. In order to access it, you will need to create a Google Account email address (i.e. yourcompany@gmail.com).

    2. Once you have this Google Account created, let your CSM know, and they will set you up as a user.

      1. If your company uses Google Apps, let your CSM know, and they will set you up as a user.

  3. Once you have access into our Bitfreighter portal, you will have the ability to add more users to access your account. Your CSM will help walk you through this process.

At Bitfreighter, our goal is to have each connection setup, tested and ready to go-live within 6 weeks of being informed the Google Sheet is complete. While Bitfreighter does our best to fully setup each connection within 6 weeks, there are factors that could delay the project. It is imperative that you work closely with your Trading Partner/Customer when files are being transmitted and respond to their inquiries as soon as possible. If there is an EDI issue, please make sure that support@bitfreighter.com and your CSM are included on the email so that they can help troubleshoot the issue.

We plan to make this a stress-free experience and are available to help answer questions you may have. We appreciate your business and look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

The Bitfreighter Team
